Suffice to say Kpop Demon Hunters is the biggest Animated
anything on the planet this year (even bigger than Demon Slayers Worldwide Box Office
Dominance). Heck, the three real life
voices of Rumi, Mira and Zoe: Ejae, Audrey Nuna and Rei Ami respectively, just
made their live performance debut on SNL and Jimmy Fallon last week AND we
given the news that the Kpop Demon Hunters soundtrack has gone freaking Platinum. Obviously, we haven’t fallen out of love with
this Animated Musical Epic and since we’re a couple of weeks out from
Halloween, you can bet these characters are going to be all over the
place. Originally I was going to do a
list of the top titles big in the cosplay scene right now…but let’s face it, after
what I saw at Otakon 2025, Kpop Demon Hunters wins. So let’s break down which individual Hunter,
Demon or Creature who would be the most spotted this spooky season with my the Top
5 Kpop Demon Hunter Characters Everyone’s Gonna Cosplay for Halloween.
Like everyone in Kpop Demon Hunters, Jinu and the Saja
Boys aren’t confined to one look. Their
casual looks can be pulled off in any number of ways. Though since we’re getting into chillier
weather territory I think the nigh shirtless looks might take a backseat to the
true terrifying look of the Halloween Holiday: their true Demoni Forms. The robes, those hats and especially if you
can nail the eyes with some good contacts, going solo or with a group is going
to guarantee lots of eyes on you and soda pops.
#4-Rumi
Don’t get me wrong, I love all of Huntr/x and so do
you. Rumi’s got a couple of fun
Halloween options from her numerous concert looks to her comfy casuals (think
that’s also a running theme with everyone in the Kpop Demon Hunters cast, easy,
casual looks). But like Kinu and the
Saja Boys, I think what a lot might try to go for this Halloween. Granted this goes against what I said above
about cool weather setting in but Rumi’s Demonic look is a must cause you can
get very creative with her patterns on her arms, legs and face. You can even play it as Nice Demon Rumi or
Evil Demon Rumi if you really wanna go full unapologetic monster.
#3-Mira
Mira might be the most stylish of the Huntr/x trio. Her personal attitude screams absolute IDGAF
in every respect. She doesn’t have the
most casual wardrobe per say (well get to who holds that title in a
moment). But Mira’s closet consists of everything
that could make a Halloween party very sexy from her hair styles to her thigh
high boots. Hmmm if I were to pick a
look out of Mira’s extensive closet like I’ve done everyone else let’s see…I’d
probably go with her leather look from the Bathhouse fight scene. Imho, it’s her hottest look and like the Saja
Boys, all eyes would be on Mira without much competition.
#2-Zoe
Of the three Huntr/x girls, Zoe is the most casual of the
bunch. Hers is a closet filled with outfits
that you could spot on the street any time of day or year. Not to mention, Zoe is the most bubbly and
hyperactive of the girls and that’s made her such a beloved fan favorite. We’re I going for must wear looks, I think
Zoe’s most popular might be her outfit from the beginning of the movie. The top, pants and shoes all scream multiple occasions
but mostly party and hanging out. Zoe is
one character everyone could dress any way they want and still be considered
part of Huntr/x
The real star of the movie…ok the one who stole the most
scenes is none other than Jinu’s lion pet companion, Derpy. This is one I saw cosplayed a lot at Otakon
and in many different and very fun ways.
From fur and masks to full on fur suits, Derpy is maybe a more
traditional Halloween costume that would get a chuckle from on lookers and
party goers. And bonus points if you can
somehow get the hat Jinu made for Derpy to be made part of the look (the one
the bird always steals).
