When it comes to fighting the undead, you’d think such a
job would be left in the hands of powerful men with loads of gadgets, guns and
various other means of engaging in mass carnage. Thankfully, we live in an age where both sexes
are equally involved in the fight against evil.
And more often than not they look really damn good doing that. Seeing as how last week saw the return of a
Video Gaming Classic, Resident Evil 3, I figured this weeks Top 5 Wednesday
should be a shout out to the lovely ladies who more often than not steal the
show from Chris Redfield or Leon S. Kennedy throughout the franchise. These are the Top 5 Hottest Resident Evil
Heroines.
#5-Ingrid Hunnigan (Resident Evil 4, 6)
While most girls in the RE franchise are out on the
frontlines taking on biohazards left and right, Hunnigan is sadly stuck back
home working the intel side of things.
But man is she incredibly hot. We
usually only see her face but that’s enough to have Ingrid on this list. Cute with the glasses and a reliable source
of intel and comfort, it almost made me want to ditch Ashley on that island
because Hunnigan is a girl more worth fighting for than the ever complaining
daughter of the president.
#4-Jill Valentine (Resident Evil, 3, Revelations, 5)
The defacto “Super Cop” alongside her eternal partner,
Chris Redfield, Jill is one of the very first characters introduced in the
Resident Evil franchise. The Master of Lockpicks
(and sandwiches), Jill has take on some of the worst creatures Umbrella’s ever
unleashed like Lickers and yes, the Nemesis.
While her classic STARS uniform is beloved by many, others know Jill
best by her sexy Resident Evil 3 look. I’d
be lying if I said she didn’t look good in the cyber ninja catsuit she has in 5,
though I agree bleaching the hair was a bit much.
#3-Claire Redfield (Resident Evil 2, Code Veronica,
Revelations 2)
She may not be a “Super Cop” like Jill or her brother
Chris, but Claire is a forced to be reckoned with. Her quick wit and protective nature make her
one of the most determined guardians in the whole franchise as Claire puts
everything on the line to protect Sherry Birkin and even her brother from time
to time. Plus, Claire is the ultimate “girl
next door”, looking cute beyond compare on the outside. Cross her though and one truly ultimate bad
ass will be unleashed.
#2-Sheva Alomar (Resident Evil 5)
Yes, Resident Evil 5 isnt the most well regarded game in
the franchise. It’s more action-y than
survival horror and the AI of your partner is…well, it leaves a lot to be
desired. However, as a character, Sheva
is just as tough and resourceful as the rest of her fellow bad ass ladies of Resident
Evil. She takes no crap from Chris and
is determined to save her home no matter what.
And yes…she is one of the many definitions of gorgeous with her soothing
accent and killer bod that makes it a little distracting to shoot zombies when
she’s right in front of you.
#1-Ada Wong (Resident Evil 2, 4, 6)
Let me tell you, it is not easy ranking these girls based
on skill and beauty…but somehow the moment I came up with this list, I knew Ada
was going to be #1. I mean look at her
in Resident Evil 4 alone, rocking that sexy, seductive attitude that just tells
you she’s in control (even when she isn’t) and that iconic red dress. Ada walks the line between heroine and anti
heroine so it’s hard to gauge just what her overall endgame is. One this is certain, damn she is the best
looking character in Resident Evil 2 (sorry Claire), and it’s easy to fall for
her all over again in all her sexy HD glory.
